According to a statement from the HNS, an UEFA representative is expected to arrive in Zagreb on Wednesday, 18 August, and hold, in the HNS offices, talks with referee Bruno Maric about the aforementioned final match.
The HNS recalls that in the course of the ongoing proceedings, it only received a document requesting Croatian football authorities to cooperate in the case, and that consequently, Zoran Mamic was recently interviewed in the UEFA headquarters as a witness.
Since then, no other information or official document has been forwarded from Nyon to Zagreb, the HNS said.
HNS officials will insist on being received for talks in the UEFA headquarters in order to establish all relevant facts in the case and continue cooperation in cases aimed at preventing illegal betting and match-fixing, the HNS said.
Dismissing media allegations that he was a suspect in the alleged fixing of the aforementioned match, Zoran Mamic earlier on Tuesday announced that he would file lawsuits over false media reports.
