WASHINGTON, June 23 (Hina) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has
commended Croatia's authorities for "skillfully navigating the economy
through the global financial and economic crisis, as their swift
intervention had helped preserve financial stability, contain the
fiscal deficit, and maintain investor confidence and access to
international capital markets," according to conclusions the IMF
Executive Board made at the consultations on Article IV with Croatia
on Monday.
