ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - The Croatian government proposed raising the
VAT rate from 22 to 23 percent and introducing a solidarity tax on
salaries, pensions and other income exceeding HRK 3,000,
representatives of employers and trade unions said after talks with
the government on Wednesday, adding that most of them supported the
government proposal.
