Tolusic, who arrived in Brussels for a meeting of European Union member-states' farm ministers, said that it was very difficult for inspectors to check all possible irregularities considering large areas of arable land, however, the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) known as drones will be purchased to facilitate inspectors' efforts.
"I hope that we will soon be able to use state-of-the-art technology. The control will be 100% thanks to the use of drones in the coming period," Tolusic said in response to questions from the press about cases of abuse of farm grants by those who did not do business in the farming sector.
