This past Monday, the agency held a conference to mark its 15th anniversary and on that occasion, Health Minister Milan Kujundzic said that the European Union bodies cited HALMED as a good example in best practices for drug agencies.
HALMED director Sinisa Tomic said that the agency was hired also abroad to check the quality of medicinal products and to carry out control over good producing practices not only in Croatia but also in Europe and worldwide.
The Agency, established 1 October 2003, provides services pertaining to medicinal products, medical devices and homeopathic medicinal products in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Croatia.
HALMED is also included in EU projects and innovations in the field of the drug safety monitoring.
