ZAGREB, Oct 9 (Hina) - The countries of the former Yugoslavia have been backsliding on war crimes prosecution in the last few years, Serge Brammertz, chief prosecutor of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, the successor to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, said during a visit to Zagreb on Tuesday, warning that the public sphere was dominated by the glorification of war criminals and denial of war crimes.
