This campaign including two programmes, one of which is called "Music Night" and the other "Coffee with Bach", was initiated by the local music school in that city 50 kilometres south of Zagreb. The school is also organising a 7-hour concert from 5 a.m. on Friday until midnight in two concert halls that will be broadcast in local parks.
The school is also holding educative workshops about the life and work of this great German composer and musician of the Baroque period who was born on 21 March 1685 in Eisenach and died on 28 July 1750 in Leipzig.
Music students from Zagreb, Jastrebarsko, Labin, Pula, Slatina, Virovitica, Varazdin, and Split and several foreign musicians will join in these concerts.
