The 67th edition of the Hanzekovic track and field meeting, one of IAAF World Challenge meetings, will take place in Zagreb on 29 August, featuring several world champions, including US pole vaulter Sam Kendricks and long jumper Luvo Manyonga of South Africa.
The organisers of the Zagreb meet have said the pole vault event will also feature the best Croatian athlete in this discipline, Ivan Horvat, and Canada's Shawnacy Barber.
In the long jump discipline, the Zagreb audience will also see Russian Aleksandr Menkov and Uruguayan Emiliano Lasa.
In the 400m discipline, the arrival of Isaac Makwala of Botswana and his compatriot Baboloki Thebe has been confirmed. The Bahamian Steven Gardiner will also participate in this race.
During the meeting, Men Events will be the races 100, 400, 3000, 110H, 400H, and pole vault, long jump as well as shot put, whereas Women Events will be 100, 800, 3000 steeplechase, 100H, high jump, triple jump, discus throw and javelin throw.
