ZAGREB, June 11 (Hina) - The 57th edition of the international children's festival in the coastal Croatian city of Sibenik will be held from 17 June to 1 July and will include 140 events and happenings, the festival's director, Maja Trlaja, told a news conference in Zagreb a few days ago.
Apart from Croatia's participants, the festival will feature performers and guests from Singapore, Russia, Lithuania, Italy, Spain and a dozen more countries.
One of the festival's aims is to encourage artistic expression and creativity among children, notably in music, theatre, literature, painting, puppetry and film.
The festival is held under the auspices of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
