The fair, which features a large number of faraway destinations, including Indonesia as the partner country, will close on Sunday, March 19.
Organisers expect more than 15,000 visitors.
Minister Cappelli said this fair proved that Zagreb was becoming a tourism centre.
The minister announced that revenues from the 2016 tourist season could amount to EUR 9.5 billion, adding that exact figures would be released by the end of the month.
