Croatia's GDP per capita in 2014 was EUR 10,152

ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in Croatia in 2014 was HRK 77,456 or EUR 10,152, and broken down by region, the highest GDP per capita was recorded in Zagreb, being 76.4% above the national average, while the north-eastern Virovitica-Podravina County had the lowest GDP per capita, 44.3% below the national average, show figures provided by the national statistical office (DZS).

Croatia's total GDP in 2014 was HRK 328.1 billion, or EUR 43 billion, down by 0.4% from 2013.

The City of Zagreb in the "Continental Croatia" statistical region accounted for a third of GDP in 2014, amounting to 109 billion kuna or 14.3 billion euros.

Zagreb's GDP per inhabitant in 2014 was EUR 17,908, 76.4% above the national average.

In the "Continental Croatia" statistical region, the 2014 GDP per capita was EUR 10,325.

On the other hand, the statistical region "Adriatic Croatia" registered a GDP per capita of 9,802 euros, 3.4% below the national average.

Virovitica-Podravina County registered a GDP per capita of 5,655 euros, 44.3% below the average.

Expressed in euros, Croatia's GDP per capita was 0.7% or 76 euros lower than in 2013, when it stood at EUR 10,228.
