The news conference also included the screening of a film on last year's Ultra, Ultra Europe 2016 Aftermovie, which promotes Croatian destinations. The film, made by Charly Friedrichs and his Final Kid team, takes viewers on an 11-minute journey of last year's week-long festival.
The film shows the festival's audience dancing and enjoying music, as well as Croatia's natural attractions, from the Plitvice Lakes National Park to the Adriatic coast and the islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis, which, together with Split, were the venues of the festival.
More than 100,000 people from 143 countries visited last year's Ultra Europe and as many or more are expected to visit this year's festival edition, given the huge initial interest in tickets.
Ultra Europe will begin on July 13 with an opening party in Split, where, on July 14-16 the main part of the festival will take place, the venue being the city's Poljud stadium. After that, on July 17, the festival moves to Bol on the island of Brac, on July 18 it moves to Hvar, and on July 19 to Vis, where it will end.
