Pahud will perform together with the Chamber Orchestra of Potsdam under the artistic direction of English harpsichordist and conductor Trevor Pinnock.
"The great German ensemble is coming to Zagreb under the artistic direction of the legendary English harpsichordist and conductor Trevor Pinnock, whereas Emmanuel Pahud, not just one of the best members of the Berlin Philharmonic, but also according to many the best flute player of today, is going to perform as a soloist. His last concert with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra enchanted the Lisinski audience who repaid him with standing ovations. No matter what composition he plays, Pahud is a musician in whose hands the flute becomes a magic flute that hypnotises and takes the listeners to a state of blissful musical ecstasy," reads a statement released on the Vatroslav Lisinski website.
The programme to be performed includes works by Haydn, Mozart and Devienne.
