Croatian inventors win 11 medals at London show

ZAGREB, Oct 24 (Hina) - Six Croatian inventors and entrepreneurs won 11 medals at the British Invention Show (BIS), with Tomislav Bronzin of the Citus company winning the show's main award for his invention "C@N PersonRecog - Gender & Age Group Recognition Software", the Croatian Inventors Association said on Monday.

Along with the main award, Bronzin also won a special certificate and a gold medal, which makes him the most successful exhibitor at this year's show.

The brothers Matej and Filip Bosnjak won a gold medal and a platinum medal, the show's second most important award, for their invention "A model for the welding of round objects". The invention is produced by their company E.T Industrijska Elektronika.    

A gold medal and a special award for design was won by "Nikel prive" cosmetics, made by Priroda Lijeci, a company owned by Mirjana Brlecic, while Melita and Mira Mocan of the Cosmel company received a special award and a gold medal for their "Creamy poppy milk" product.

Gold medals were also won by Slobodan Rajic of Telecor Zagreb for his manhole anti-terrorist lock and by Tomislav Juratovac of the Pro-Hepro company for his Helloquent Wi-fi product.
