ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - Yet another Croatian product, Drnis prosciutto, has been included in the EU register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications, the Ministry of Agriculture announced earlier this week.
Drnis prosciutto joined seven other Croatian products that are registered and protected on the common market, namely Krk prosciutto, Cres extra virgin olive oil, Neretva mandarins, Ogulin sauerkraut, Baranja Kulen sausage, Lika potato and Istrian prosciutto.
The registration process for Drnis prosciutto was launched in June 2011.
