LONDON, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatia is promoting its new tourism slogan, "Croatia, Full of Life", at the ongoing World Travel Market, reactions to the new slogan are mainly positive, and Croatia can also expect a continued rise in the number of guests from the British market, according to statements from Croatia's officials attending the WTM, which is taking place in London on 2-5 November.
"Great Britain is one of the most interesting markets, and our attendance at the WTM is important also because of other exhibitors. During the talks, many business partners have told us that Croatia is a desirable destination on the Mediterranean and all would like to upgrade cooperation," Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin said.
Lorencin deems a 15-percent rise in the number of guests from the British market as a success.
"We will have had some 2.5 million overnight stays of Britons now, and our aim is to exceed the figures of 4.5 million overnight stays (annually), which was recorded in 1987," the minister said.
The 36th edition of the WTM has brought together over 5,000 exhibitors from 190 countries.
