ZAGREB, Oct 13 (Hina) - The state-controlled flag carrier Croatia Airlines said on Tuesday it had renegotiated with Airbus a deal for the delivery of four new A320 neo aircraft.
According to an annex to the original contract, signed in 2008, the first two aircraft should be delivered in 2021, followed by two more in the year after, Croatia Airlines said in a statement.
"Airbus 320 neo planes are known for better efficiency, a smaller amount of harmful emissions, silent engines and bigger capacity compared to the planes from the original deal and they will be delivered at almost the same price as negotiated in the 2008 agreement," said Croatia Airlines management board president Kresimir Kucko.
