The festival will take place in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb from October 21 to 24. It will be opened by one of the best Polish fusion bands, Walk Away, which this year celebrates the 30th anniversary of its foundation.
"All these years the festival has hosted renowned world, European and Croatian jazz musicians of all generations and we are glad that that will continue this year as well," festival director Davor Hrvoj said at a press conference this past week.
The festival's lineup also includes American singer/songwriter Sheila Jordan, who will be backed by bassist Cameron Brown; saxophonist, clarinetist, singer and composer Gary Bartz and his quartet; and Germany-based Croatian guitarist and composer Renato Rozic and his band Consort.
Sculptures made by Croatian artist Boris Boduljak will be on display in the concert hall's lobby for the duration of the festival.
The festival is supported by the Croatian Ministry of Culture, the City of Zagreb, the Zagreb Tourist Board and the Polish Embassy.
