ZAGREB, Sept 29 (Hina) - Testifying in the trial of Tomislav Mercep for war crimes against Serb civilians in 1991, Croatia's war-time health minister Andrija Hebrang said on Tuesday that he had interceded with then minister of the interior Ivan Vekic to release Djordje Gunjevic, arrested in Pakrac, and to help him emigrate with his family to Switzerland.
