The appeal asks that efforts be made to help those in need and to make available accommodation, food, medical care and psycho-social assistance to our brothers and sisters in need, Caritas Croatia deputy director Suzana Borko told Hina.
She recalled that Caritas had sent financial assistance from its emergency relief fund to the Caritas organisations in Macedonia and Serbia. She called on the public to support Caritas' project with donations to help relieve the uncertainty, anxiety and scarcity refugees compelled to leave their homes are faced with.
