Ambassador Boccoz recalled that cooperation between France and Croatia with respect to archives has continued over the years.
The exhibition presents selected archival material over the past 200 years which depicts relations between the two countries in three sections, the exhibition's author, Ladislav Dobrica, underscored.
The first section presents the administration of the Illyrian provinces in Croatia, with military and public registers taken from the Catholic Church by public notaries in Napoleon's administration. The second section refers to French immigrants to Croatia and the third section presents the works of Lujo Vojnovic and Bozidar Rasic, responsible for deepening relations between the two countries, Dobrica said.
