In January-May 2015, Croatia exported HRK 33.8 billion worth of goods, while importing HRK 55.8 billion, up 4.3% on the year.
Exports to other EU countries in January-May 2015 increased 12.8% on the year to HRK 22.6 billion, while exports to the rest of the world increased 3.4% to HRK 11.2 billion.
The import of goods from other EU countries totalled HRK 43.6 billion, up 7.6% from January-May 2014, while imports from non-EU countries fell 5.7% to HRK 12.2 billion.
Croatia's trade deficit at the end of May 2015 was HRK 21.99 billion, down 2.7% on the year. The export-import ratio increased by 2.9 percentage points to 60.6% at the end of May 2015.
