ZAGREB, July 6
(Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's Committee on the
Constitution on Monday endorsed draft amendments to two laws which
make it possible to dissolve town councils which refuse to adjust
their statutes to legally guaranteed rights of ethnic minorities,
however, committee members proposed that the amendments not be adopted
under fast-track procedure but be discussed in two readings.
