VUKOVAR, June 29
(Hina) - The civil society group which goes by the
name the Initiative for the Defence of a Croatian Vukovar has said
that the government's amendments to the Act on Local and Regional
Self-Government Units and the Act on the Use of Ethnic Minorities'
Languages and Scripts are yet another attack on Vukovar victims, and
that dual, Latin-Cyrillic signs can be put in that eastern city only
on the condition of full compliance with Article 8 of the
Constitutional Law on Ethnic Minorities' Rights.
