In the first six months of 2015, a total of 21,575 new cars were sold in Croatia, which is 2.1% more on the year.
The best-selling car make in the first half of the year was Volkswagen, with 3,584 cars or 16.6% of all new vehicles sold in Croatia. It was followed by Opel with 2,706 vehicles sold and a market share of 12.5%, Skoda with 2,016 cars (9.3%), followed by Renault, Dacia, Dacia, Peugeot, Ford and Kia.
Broken down by car model, the best-selling model was Opel Astra with 1,238 vehicles sold, followed by Volkswagen Golf, Renault Clio, Volkswagen Poli and Skoda Octavia.
