According to Bank Austria, Austrian citizens will fare best in Hungary where the value of the euro is 100:168, in Turkey 100 euro is worth around 163 euro and in Croatia around 139 euro while in Switzerland they would only get 59 euro for 100 euros.
With a drop in value of the euro, distant destinations are increasing in price for Austrian travellers. Prices in China have gone up by as much as 23%.
Italy however, remains a favourite destination for Austrians and there they get 103 euro for 100 euro.
