In a statement to the press after the meeting with Heinen, Minister Lorencin said that ADAC was a significant, valued and good partner to Croatia's tourism.
"Information about services and destinations can be distributed well through ADAC's 18 million members," Lorencin said, recalling that Croatia's tourism was almost entirely car orientated.
A favourable circumstance, Lorencin said, is that ADAC's headquarters are in Munich which is "at the heart of our main market." He announced that at the end of next year's peak season ADAC planned to organise a race of vintage cars in Croatia.
Heinen explained that he would visit several camps around Croatia to inspect the level of services and that as far as he was aware ADAC members did not have any negative impressions about Croatia.
