Mlinar opened a bakery in Munich's central square Marienplatzt, as part of the company's strategic plan to expand further into EU member states.
Mlinar, which has 190 bakeries, began its expansion abroad several years ago. The biggest bakery chain in the region, which employs approximately 1,800 people, plans to open 150 bakeries in Germany.
Mlinar was founded in 1903 in the northern Croatian town of Krizevci.
