The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) in Croatia rose to 115.5 points in Croatia from 114.1 points in January.
Services confidence improved the most, by 3.2 points to 9.9 points. Consumer confidence improved by 2.2 points to -26.9 points.
Industry confidence increased only mildly compared to January, by 0.6 points to -0.9 points.
Retail trade confidence weakened the most, by 4.4 points to -1.1 points, and construction confidence worsened as well, by 1.6 points to -28.8 points.
The economic sentiment in the EU as a whole improved mildly in February, with ESI going up 0.4 points to 105.1 points, which was the third consecutive month it increased.
Consumer confidence increased the most, by 1.4 points to -4.4 points. Construction confidence improved significantly as well, going up 0.8 points, while industry confidence improved more moderately, by 0.4 points.
Expectations for retail trade were the lowest, as reflected in a decline of retail trade confidence of 2.2 points and of services confidence, which declined by one point.
In the euro area ESI went up in February by 0.7 points to 102.1 points, again owing mostly to improved consumer confidence.
