"Upon the registration of our association, we will employ the first workers, primarily war veterans, and we will start obtaining the tanks necessary for our job," the coordinator Mario Franic said.
We will need some 40 hectares of land and we expect the authorities to help us, Franic said, explaining that the association would ask the state authorities for concessions on land where the association may organise a training range and where it can build hostels, restaurants and other amenities necessary for the tourist trade.
For the time being, the association plans to have its premises in the Ravni Kotari area in the Zadar hinterland as well as in the wider areas of Slunj, Karlovac and Knin.
The association's representative Branko Moric recently told Hina that they would ask for Croatian Army tanks out of use, and that they would adjust those vehicles to fit the requirements for tourist rides.
