The Crikvenica Tourist Board in December applied for the Creative Tourism Network's "Creative tourism at a glance" competition and a Creative Tourism Awards international jury selected the best five among about 100 applications and destinations from ten countries.
The awards were presented in four categories based on quality, originality, innovation and sustainability.
The Crikvenica Tourist Board received the award for most creative destination of 2014, while Croatia's "Istra Inspirit" and Colombia's "5 Bogota" projects shared the award for most creative experience.
