ZAGREB, Feb 12
(Hina) - Parliamentarians of the "People's Party -
Reformists" on Thursday criticised the latest modification of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP)-sponsored amendment on who may stand in
parliamentary elections whereby convicts whose rehabilitation period
has not expired under a special law cannot stand for parliamentary
elections, and this will refer to all those who have been given final
sentences of more than six months regardless of the type of offence.
