ZAGREB, Feb 11
(Hina) - The ruling Social Democratic Party (SDP) on
Wednesday changed its proposed amendment whereby convicts whose
rehabilitation period has not expired under a special law cannot stand
for parliamentary elections, and this will refer to all those who have
been given final sentences longer than six months regardless of the
type of offence, according to an explanation which SDP parliamentarian
Pedja Grbin gave to reporters in the Sabor on Wednesday.
