ZAGREB, Nov 12
(Hina) - Croatia needs to carry out additional
reforms to improve its difficult economic situation and strong fiscal
consolidation is needed, an IMF team has said after a visit to
Croatia, expressing skepticism about the government's plan to adjust
income tax brackets and separate the Health Insurance Fund (HZZO) from
the state treasury and welcoming its plan to write off debts to
destitute citizens.
