Theatre plays and other events will be taking place in 43 cities, towns and municipalities throughout Saturday, the organisers said at a news conference in Zagreb on Monday.
"Last year, Theatre Night registered 50,000 visitors, and this year, figures will be impressive again," said Ivan Vukelic, one of the initiators of this event.
Troupes from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia will also take part in performances in local theatres in eastern and northern Croatian towns and in Istria.
The Croatian ministry of culture is co-financing the event.
