There are some who are hoping for a six-month crisis and dissolution of the City Assembly so that the city focuses on elections for the next six months, but that will not happen, said Kosor.
He added that the Assembly, as well as the city government, the Zagrebacki Holding multi-utility company and other city services would continue to operate normally.
Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic and 11 other people, including Zagrebacki Holding management board chair Slobodan Ljubicic, were remanded in custody on Tuesday on suspicion of involvement in a number of corruption-related crimes.
