ZAGREB, Oct 21
(Hina) - The USKOK anti-corruption office has
launched an investigation into Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic, 15 other
suspects and two companies for abuse of office and power, tax evasion,
influence peddling, and incitement to abuse of office and to influence
peddling, with the prosecution estimating the damage at HRK 20 million
(approx. EUR 2.6 million).
