VUKOVAR, Sept 23
(Hina) - All dual alphabet plates, in the Cyrillic
and Latin scripts, were forcibly removed from state buildings in
Vukovar on Tuesday, and such a plate on the local police department
was smashed, prompting police to arrest several war veterans following
the incidents that occurred after a wreath-laying ceremony at the city
cemetery at which tribute was paid to the dead members of the Vukovar
Brigade.
