ZAGREB, April 26
(Hina) - The police have filed a criminal complaint
against the head of the Tax Administration, Nada Cavlovic Smiljanec,
in an investigation into a former head of the Tax Administration
office in Osijek, Ruzica Kovacevic, who is suspected of preventing
distraint proceedings against a local company and thus defrauding the
state budget of at least 11.8 million kuna, sources close to the
investigation told Hina on Friday evening.
