PLOCE, April 12
(Hina) - Croatian President Ivo Josipovic has called
for setting more precise standards when it comes to the estimation of
property values but declined to comment on the case of the Sisak
County Prefect charged by the national serious fraud office (USKOK)
with having overpaid for a building for a local emergency clinic,
while the Tax Administration insists that the appraisal of the
disputed property was conducted pursuant to the defined procedure.
