ZAGREB, April 12
(Hina) - The president of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ), Tomislav Karamarko, told the national broadcaster HRT on
Friday evening he did not attend the voting on a referendum on
bilingualism in the Croatian parliament because he attended the
ceremony of unveiling the monument to the first Croatian president
Franjo Tudjman in the coastal town of Pakostane, which he deemed as
more important.
