SOLIN, March 30
(Hina) - Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) leader
Tomislav Karamarko said on Saturday evening that the secretary-general
of this strongest Opposition party, Milijan Brkic had offered his
resignation over the scandal about his plagiarised graduation thesis
at the Zagreb Police Academy, however, Karamarko said, the HDZ
leadership would wait for a ruling of the competent administrative
court on Brkic's appeal against the invalidation of his diploma,
before deciding on Brkic's resignation.
