ZAGREB, April 11
(Hina) - Commenting on Thursday's protests against
plans to build a new block within the coal-powered thermal power plant
in Plomin, Istria, the Croatian power company HEP said activists were
spreading fear among the public without a reasons, adding that the air
in the TE Plomin Thermal Power Plant area was of high quality and that
once a new bloc is constructed the emissions of sulfur trioxide and
nitrous oxide would be reduced.
