ZAGREB, April 2
(Hina) - The Zagreb County Court on Wednesday upheld
an indictment for war profiteering against a former president of the
Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HDZ BiH), Ante
Jelavic, whom Croatia's anti-corruption office USKOK charges with
having decided in 1996, as Assistant Defence Minister of the Croatian
Republic of Herceg-Bosna, to use money of Croatia's Defence Ministry
to buy an apartment in Split for Ivica Rajic, a former commander of
the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) 2nd Operations Group.
