ZAGREB, March 30
(Hina) - Croatia has gained manifold benefits from
NATO membership since it joined the Alliance five years ago, as the
membership has made it possible for the country to radically scale
down its armed forces and to maintain security through participation
in collective defence, Defence Minister Ante Kotromanovic said in an
interview with Hina on Sunday on the occasion of the fifth anniversary
of Croatia's admission to NATO.
