ZAGREB, March 1 (Hina) - Nearly 14 years after bringing a lawsuit
against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) for
a breach of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the
Crime of Genocide, a trial opens before the International Court of
Justice (ICJ) in The Hague on Monday at which Croatia will have the
opportunity to present evidence in support of its claim that Serbia
committed genocide on Croatian soil during the 1991-1995 Homeland
War.
