ZAGREB, Jan 31
(Hina) - The Croatian National Bank (HNB) intervened
on the foreign exchange market for the first time in nine months on
Friday, selling 240.2 million euros at an average exchange rate of
7.644769 kuna for one euro and thus drawing 1.83 billion kuna from the
banking system, the central bank said.
