BELGRADE, Jan 17
(Hina) - The decision by the Appellate Court in
Belgrade to uphold the appeals of 14 former members of the Yugoslav
army and Serb paramilitary forces, sentenced to prison terms ranging
from four to 20 years for war crimes committed in Lovas, eastern
Croatia, in 1991 and to quash the trial court judgment is based on
substantial breaches of due process and errors of fact, the Appellate
Court says in its ruling, which has been seen by Hina.
