ZAGREB, Jan 17
(Hina) - Nine people, headed by former Croatian
Postal Bank (HPB) Board chairman Josip Protega, who are charged with
defrauding the state-owned bank of 667 million kuna by granting and
taking risky loans, on Friday pleaded not guilty to the charges with
their defence teams dismissing findings by an expert witness as
unlawful and unprofessional.
