This is the largest carnival event in eastern Croatia, ranking among the country's top three alongside the Rijeka Carnival and Samoborski Fašnik.
Participants of all ages, from preschoolers and schoolchildren to members of cultural associations and various organisations, showcased a mix of contemporary and traditional masks, both individual and group costumes.
At the end of the parade, awards were presented for the best masks in multiple categories.
The 31st Đakovački Bušari programme continues tomorrow with a horse-riding event in the Đakovo's Široko Polje suburb, featuring around 60 riders.
